WHO'S IDEA WAS THIS?
This remark has been uttered, one way or another, from the caves of prehistoric man to the exalted halls of our most powerful governments of the world. Possibly it was heard while the Children of Israel were wandering in the wilderness.
Absolutely nothing happens unless conceived in the idea form. Such ideas must be shared to be effective. Suppose that Henry Ford kept his ideas to himself. Or Thomas Edison had not shared his thoughts on the electric light bulb. We figuratively might yet be stumbling in the darkness.
Add the names of Louis Pasteur or Jonas Salk. I know we are not Salks or Pasteurs, but, they, as we, had two eyes, one nose, two hands, etc. Oh, by the way... Salk and Pasteur each had one brain with which to conceive and disseminate ideas.
Many of us are too timid about airing our ideas. How do you know unless you air them, if your ideas are good or bad? Not professing an idea is the worst kind of prejudice. It's prejudice, since it is pre-judgment of your own ideas by yourself! Not by the people to whom you might express your thoughts.
Bad ideas are often put into practice, in government, associations, and other groups, simply because good ideas aren't put forth.
God gives each of us the ability to think, and to make our thoughts known, but it's up to the individual to take the primary step of being heard by others.
Why not make a point to share your ideas with others? It might even be fun. Write them down, if you have a problem with speaking. Then see to it that they get to others that may just benefit greatly from your idea.
