Dogs usually bark at wheel chairs. So one time a guy was walking alongside a park with a big police dog on leash. When the dog saw me he tried to take off toward me and barked very loud.

The guy jerked the leash and said, �Stop!� That dog instantly stopped and shut up. I was impressed so I said, �You have him well trained. He behaves himself.�

The guy said, �If he don�t, I try to whip him, and he knows it.�

�Dogs don�t usually require whipping,� I said. �They try to do what they think you want them to do.�

�That�s right,� the man said with a twinkle in his eye. �I said I try to whip him. He loves me and don�t want me to be hurt, so he really hates to beat up on me, which is what happens when I try to whip him.�

Now, I laughed...
