FACING DEATH
"Sweetheart," The young man said, "I would gladly face death for you."
A gust of wind happened at just this moment and blew the sweet young thing's bonnet into a pasture where there was a large bull.
"Oh, Please," the girl pleaded, "fetch my bonnet from the pasture."
"But dear," her beau said, "There is a mean bull in there."
"Didn't you say you would face death for me?" she inquired.
"That I would, my sweetheart," the boy answered, "but that bull ain't dead."
